where to find shop manual for kaw.

Does anyone know where I can find a shop manual for a Kawasaki 17hp. I am looking for the type that shows the specs and tolerances for rebuilding and maintenance. None of the shops seem to know how to get one even though they distribute the engine. The model is FH500V.
