New sod touching adjacent old lawn a problem?

I'm doing a sod job for my next-door neighbor's front lawn that will but right up along my grass, which is far from perfect- it's a pretty old lawn. The two front lawns touch alongside each other for about 100 feet. Is this going to be a problem, will it affect the newly laid sod at all?

If you live in south Jersey your probably laying a fescue blend. I'm assuming your referring to invasion of one lawn into another, This won't be a problem. Follow the sod farms instructions on care and management of the grass. Buy your sod from a reputable dealer, this will save you time and money in the long run.
