That's how it starts out. One time cuts are a great oppurtunity for long term customers when you do a good job. We have had our last frost I think and people are really starting to evaluate their lawns now. We are up here in Jacksonville.

The door to door worked well last week, got six new accounts. All of the accounts are in the areas i wanted to target, because of potential growth, i may obtain more accounts, which would be good.

Glad to hear the market is good in Jax. This is my first season in the area. Looking to focus between 9A and the beaches. What have you guys found is the best way to advertise in Jax. I'm starting from scratch, so I don't have any opportunity for word of mouth. Let me know if you guys get too busy!!!!!!

We are strictly flyers and word of mouth. The word of mouth is the best and most cost effective though. :)

Mommacutz,

Have you had any luck with advertising in the newspaper? I guess one week is $71 and one month is $171. Just handed out first set of flyers today. Hopefully will get some calls soon.

I use to watch him on HGTV. I really like the show. He would always kick the shovel and catch it behind his back.

No I'm out of school. Just got myself into some financial binds, so I had to take a step back. I was in Jax over the weekend and can't believe how profitable the area can be.
