I'm not sure what tractor you are referring to, but if it's what you have listed, a Murray 42 inch hydro w briggs, I would go out and practice with the new mower on your lawn. That Exmark should cut smoother than that MTD, so go use that new one. It takes about no time to learn how to operate it. Just practice your turning with out spinning on one wheel and you catch on fast. You have to keep the tires turning while turning. :)
THANKS Erick for the quick reply.ALL INPUT APPRECIATE.
My problem now is finding grass suitable to learn on.
Ill find some somewhere.Id gladly mow somewhere
free to learn as the last thing i need is customers
saying they like old mower cut better.

Advice that will save you that I learned the very hard way. Thanks to Eric Elm I got it fixed right away.
When I got my Z, whenever I turned it would cut in the turn and look really really bad. The anti-scalp wheels didn't come set and I needed to set them. Eric Elm told me to find the height I cut at and place the anti-scalp wheels about 1/4" from the ground. Best advice I got. Never had the problem again, now I can turn anywhere and it stays smooth.

Be sure to practice, practice, and practice zero turning that baby...If u don't turn one exactly right, you'll tear up the turf...One wheel needs to go in reverse while the other wheel is going forward...Once you get used to it, you and your customers both will love it...Derrick

ALLRIGHT IF MY CUSTOMER DONT LIKE IT .Ill tell him
you told me to Derrick.LOL
APPRECIATE THE ADVICE.LATER ON
Be warned! Once you start using your new ZTR, you'll never want to use your lawn tractor for grass cutting again. Start off the new season with your new mower.
Thanks Bob.I already did some leaf work
and its twice as effective and a lot faster doing
that.So the real deal is for me to learn the machine.
