wouldnt the out front mower be true floating deck more so than mid mount ztrs?and to be a true floating deck wouldnt it (the deck) have to follow the ground contour?if so than why are there chain on the mid mount ztrs,the rollers would
have to touch the ground .but they are called floating decks why?

They are called floating decks because they have the ability to float if the decks rollers come in contact with a rise in the ground. The deck isn't rigidly attached to the frame of the mid mount ZTR. Hope this answered your question.
