How long will it take to trim 100 ft of hedge? and how much would you charge?.....the hedge is 5ft tall and 4 ft wide.....will be using a 24" gas trimmer

Probably 2 hours. With cleanup, around $300

The reason I asked what the hedge was because if it were Forsythia, I might have gone higher with the amount of time to trim and what to charge. With 24" clippers, you'll go through that like Grant went through Richmond.

Ya, right. Tell the customer that it'll be 100 or 150 an hour, and watch them have a heart attack.
Give them a price, and if, because you have specialized equipment you can do it quickly,and they agreed to that price, then that is your gain.
