fresh from the 4x4 shop with about 5000.00 in mods, i come home from iraq in 2 weeks and i get to play with her she should turn some heads when i start in feb06 and dont let the lift fool u she is built to tow anything.

A chevy with 5k in mods,hmmmmmm hope it doesnt jerk your trailer in 1/2, ,a stock chevy is very powerful

Super nice personal truck... but you will look like a redneck from hell cutting grass w/ it. Though I can't say much, I used to pull a trailer w/ a jacked up truck when I was in high school.

what does it have for an engine?

its got a 383 stroker motor, the mods that were just done is front and rear gears, rear locker, 8 inch lift 36 inch irok e rated radials complete exhaust from header back to two flow master 40 series and total fron end steering joints replaced along with steering box. the only sad thing about this is my wife gets to play with it befor i come home from baghdad,lol

have yall ever been to tx home of the lifted trucks ? theres more lifted trucks in the nicer neighborhoods then in the trashy ones. i am keeping it clean on the truck to look good i love to see an older truck working i plan on geting a 57 chevy truck next for work too gives the company a personity. anyone can go out and buy a nice new truck and u can blend in with the rest i dont want that i want to stand out

I agree Man my nain truck is a 1975 chevy c30 dually w/flowmasters, we have one of the meanest looking rigs around here. the new trucks just don't have much charecter.

Cndhaines, hope you have a safe trip back home and thanks for your service :drinkup: !!! I'm on my terminal leave now and starting my business up. Nice rig you got there too. My trailer hauler is an 03 GMC 2500HD Duramax with a 6" RCD lift, straight piped on 35's. Real head turner. Call me a Redneck!

well i got back to iraq a little while ago being home was awsome i always forget how long it takes to mow 2 1/2 acres that has alot of trees 6 hours btw while home i did make it into the dealer to look and demo hustler stuff like the mini super z 52/24 and the 37 walk behind and looked at alot of 2 stroke stuff he told me he will make me a good deal when i come back to buy it he will even have a big tex trailer there for me and i came right back to that with i better get a good deal when i come back with 20 grand in cash.

oh yea and driving a basically show truck was priceless.
