A large limb (6" dia. and 20' long) fell about 60' into my shed today. It tore a 5' long hole in the roof. It also clipped the steering lever on my Grasshopper and bent it over onto the fender. Another 6" to the back and it would have taken the control panel out. I bent the fender back up and its hard to tell it was ever damaged. The steering lever is beyond repair. This part is probably under $20. I feel lucky nothing else was damaged.

Lawnman,
I would like to know where you get general liability insurance, insurance coverage on your mowers, and commercial insurance on your trucks for $120/year!!! You could not possibly have a decent amount of protection for a measly $120/year.

I hear ya Bob...have a few widowmakers in the trees around my house that I thought the wind would blow down for sure over the weekend. No such luck, still up there. Sorry to hear about the damage, but at least it wasn't to a person! Homeowners insurance?

Be glad it happened this time of year. Glad to here that that is all that happened. It is still unfortunate that the shed sustained alot of damage. Also glad to hear no one got hurt.
