Picked up a new 6x12er today, $1150 new including the gate. Thought that was a good price. Got the leaf sucker mounted on it and the sign in the back that I had made almost a year ago just for this trailer, lol.

I thought you called it quits at the end of last year? I guess you changed your mind or am i trippin' and thinkin' of someone else.

p.s. I just bought a new 6x12, because some MORON wrecked my old one :realmad:  :gunsfirin . And I paid $750 for it. We must have really cheap trailers.lol

Yup, changed my mind. Starting all over again. I kept a lot of key items in place just in case. Ready to jump into the season and already filling up the schedule pretty good. So far I am happy with the progress.

ksland,
Where did you get your new trailer. I am from bridgewater, ma and i can't find a decent deal on a used one or a new one.

What do you use to hold the sign on the gate? Are those zip ties? I am thinking of having one done for my trailer made out of aluminum and was thinking about using some 6 inch bolts through the holes of the gate. Just curious what you were using.

I paid $895 for a 6x12 tandem with gate, things must be real expensive out that way

I paid $895 for my 6x12. Prices must vary a lot by region or something.

Yes, the sign is pvc and there are 18 thick zip ties holing it on. It would break the sign before the ties would let go.

no need for 6" bolts, just get some 2" or 3" bolts and some big washers and your set.

Prices on trailers are VERY high in the Northeast. I need another trailer and have been looking around recently. Logic tells me that it's the shipping way up here that kills the price. Guess it makes sense.

Anywhere from 1250.00 to 1975.00 for a basic 6x12 with ramp !

I did find a dealer that has Big Tex 6x12's for 1195.00. I am just waiting for them to get here from TX.

Yeah out here a 6x12 will easily be over $1000. I just got a 6.5x12 for $600 but I had to replace all the wood. After everything my total cost was about $800. It's a Parker.

It always kills me to hear the prices you guys pay in other parts of the country for trailers. Trailers are MUCH more expensive here.

ksland, nice looking trailer and website.

Nice looking leaf set up..Did you just mount that to the front of the trailer or is it sitting on something. What king of leaf vac is it.I may need to get into something like that by the fall, only problem is I don't have a dump truck.

K&S, Those zip ties will not hold, they will become brittle and break off at the bends in the ties. If you break a couple of those and there goes your sign either through someones windshield or off of thier hood. I have a sign similar in size and I used 1/4" bolts about 1 1/2" long with larger washers and used 9 of them, mine is not going anywhere.
