Help me with MOSS Problem

What do I need to do to remedy a serious MOSS problem?

They sell products that get rid of moss...check the PH of the soil...probably need to add some lime.

However, there is no guarantee it won't come back if the conditions are condusive for moss. Is it a wooded area (shady), poor drainage, and little to no air circulation? If it is, chances are you need to address those problems before you can/should tackle the moss problem.
