Petr, Nice setup but, one suggestion take that JD trimmer and toss it in the trash and get yourself a real trimmer. I had one like that I mainly used it as a stick edger but it was too d@mn heavy and did'nt have the power I needed so I went out and got a Stihl FC110. More recently I bought a Shindaiwa T230 to replace an Echo SRM230. Look into Red Max, Shindaiwa and if you find you like them look into Echo ect. But, if you do buy an Echo go to a dealer stay away from HD. Also you could look at other brands like Stihl,Cub Commercial,Husqvarna,Maruyama and even JD's pro stuff. What I said is just a suggestion nothing more.

I know about the trimmer lol Its deff not the best of my equipment, but so far ive had zero problems. I will be buying a stihl FS110. Its going on its third season so, i can't complain. I only paid 80.00 for it. But thanks, i will be getting the stihl.. I hear great things so far.. - Peter

Nice set up.One thing I would consider unless I don't see it is a vent on sides or top of trailer to help with venting fumes...

I have a 1999 Chevy Silverado. V8 with the long bed.

Yea, i don't think the guy gave me an option for vents. ITs not really a problem, As soon as the door and the back gate are open, it airs out within secconds. So its not that bad yet.

As for grades, their doin good.. I work my a$$ off the 1st 3 marking periods (NO work) so i can slip a little in the last. Im a senior in highschool now, so i will be getting senioritis in a few weeks. Anyone knows what that is will understand.. LOL i got accepted to the college of my choice and things are doing well for me and the business. - Peter P.S. thanks for the compliments!

It is a TOUGH LITTLE TRUCK!!!!!! I have had that thing through hell and back. A couple of weeks I went mud riddin and sunk it up to the doors, I didnt mean too. Didnt mess up a thing. Today I pulled a 16ft. trailer with 2 honda 4wheelers and went up a HUGE HILL, Ran like a champ, no problems. It doesn't smoke but does burn a little oil though. O yea I forgot It has 213,000 on it, and still has the original motor no rebuild or nothing.

Has your wood splitter been a profitable piece of equipment?

Has your wood splitter been a profitable piece of equipment?

Yes it has. Even though i havn't actually sold any firewood ( didn't want to) it has allready paid for itself. We pay close to 800.00 a month on heating during the winter months. When we use our wood burning stove it cut us down to 300.00 a month. So it did save us alot of money. This year i am hoping to start selling some firewood. I am allready getting wood now, splitting it now, and hopefully have it to sell. Its hard enough to keep the wood for ourselves. I just don't have any extra wood to sell to other people. But like i said, its april now, and i already have 2 cords split. Another problem is where to keep this wood lol. But yes, it has been very profitable. - Peter

did that diamond plate come on the gate? if not, how much was it to add?

you will soon outgrow the trailer. seems like a tight fit, but it looks great.

The diamond plate was added by me. Im not sure how much it was though. Maybe 200? I bought a full sheet and cut it length wise and the width was a little short though. (ITs the longest they make) so its like an inch short on each side. To me it was well worth it. - Peter

I saw it. It was a little picture montage about 1/4-1/2 or so of a page that had several little pics of LS members equipment up that they had posted on here and or sent in to Turf. Didn't mention any names or anything like that and wasn't an article only pics with no names. Several folks on here remembered the new small enclosed trailer he had just gotten and knew it was his. It was in the issue that had the Lowballer Pic on the cover I believe.

Jeez, you make it sound like I'm the lowballer and they featured me in it. LOL The article was about the way you present yourself. "Image is everything" Here is the article..
