Used Balancers

Does anyone want to part with a magna-matic balancer. I would like one, but just can't justify the expense. So looking for used. Found one, but the guy wanted damn near what it cost for a new one.

I had trouble spending $200 on a used blade grinder. So $200 on a balancer is even worse. I am not bashing the product. I love it, (why else would I want one), but just can't justify the money.

Never mind. I finally broked down a bought a new one. Can't wait until it gets here

Why the $@##(*(@#)! Didn't I get one sooner. I love it. I almost didn't mowed an 1/2 acre last week. I couldn't tell when the blades were on or off. Because of how smooth the machine ran with the balanced blades. ARGH. Had to go back an re cut it. Also now my buddies have yet another excuse to come to my shop to use my tools.

Talked my landscape techology teacher at school into buying one. He was impressed.

Definitely trading in my neary 410 grinder for a magna-mac 9000 grinder.

I bought a Mag-1000 a few weeks ago and that is one sweet balancer. I have nothing but good things to say about it. Like Itsgottobegreen said, you can barely tell the blades are engaged.
