Corn Gluten

I am in Southern New England and would like to here of anyone's experience using Corn Gluten as a crab grass control, specifically application time and rates, watering and any negatives associated with it's use.

I have used it in the past and received very good reults with it. Also keep in mind, crabgrass loves to thrive in lawns mowed really short (2" or less) so raise the cutting heights as much as possible.
