Last Friday just was not my day. When picking up my trailer the powerstroke in my 05 ford blew up and i was only on city streets. So i spent the morning at the ford dealer. Ended up borrowing my brothers chevy and got a few yards taken care of. When I got home I found out that my father passed away Im only 20.

Wow, that was a bad day. Was your father a surprise or was he sick. I lost both my parents a year apart about this time of year. It sucks, but it will get better. Keep your head up and remember the memories he left for u.

My prayers and condolences are with you and your family. I lost my dad to a massive stroke about a year and a half ago. It still hurts, especially this time of year, as we always liked to fish together starting about now. It hurts, but it's getting easier with time. Be there for your Mom, she'll need you more and more in the next few weeks and months. Lots of people here to talk to if you need them, too.

As far as the truck goes, if you want a GOOD powerstroke, find a 7.3 (01 or older), because the 6.0's are JUNK! Many, many, many problems with them ever since they came out in '02. As far as the Dodge is concerned, the '02 and later models are definitely the ones to have if you like replacing injector pumps and lift pumps around every 20 to 30,000 miles or so. PLENTY of info on the web to back that up, too. Hell, they've all got their problems nowadays! I just smile and laugh everytime I pass a Powerstroke, Cummins, or Duracrap in my F350 V10 with a heavy load on back, but I am sure they return the chuckles at me when they pass me up the road when I am stopped at the gas station filing up again! :D

Very sorry to hear about your dad. My dad died when I was 20 also. I'm 47 and still miss him. If your dad was like most, he probably offered advice for life even if you (me) didn't listen. You'll hear him talking to you for the rest of your life.

I'm sorry for your loss of your father. The best advice that I have ever gotten on the loss of a loved one is to do what they would want you to do, live like they would want you to live. That is the best way to honor their memory.

Very sorry about the lost of your father. My prayers are with you and your family.

However, I can not compare that and complain about a truck on same thread, it can be replaced or repaired, the lost of your parents or a family member can't. Not trying to be rude, my apologies if it comes out that way.

And quoting Steppenwolf, be there for your mom, she needs you now more than ever.
