Esp you ENVY......LOL. These were made this afternoon by me  with a New 2005 John Deere 757 60" that I bought a few weeks ago. I needed another 60" and decided to try a different brand this time and liked what I read about the 7 Iron Deck I decided what the heck it's only $8K I might as well try it. I am the only one that has used this mower yet and it only has 8 hours on it and is "right out of the box" with NO striping kit of any kind and still even has the factory JD blades..............looks like stripes to me. LOL :p

Fat Sean May should have been fouled out in the first half - he committed an offensive foul every time he touched the ball!

Go Illini!

P.S. The stripes look great.

Looks good i have 777 with a 72 and a 717 with a 48 both are great!! the 777 will kick the crap out of an Exmark!!!! I had one and I KNOW it does, I love the JD Much better than the Exmark!! Fast and Great cut, I make more $$ with it compared to the Exmark.

Not bad, and that's saying a lot. Hell I didn't even get a clean cut, much less stripes.

Didn't I PM you about the JD? Did you ever read what I had to say?

actually Carolina played below their potential, I thought the score was going to be more like 35 points Carolina, Carolina played the hardest schedule of any in the sweet 16 , and it just showed when it came down to crunch time. In fairness to May, He was hacked enough without any calls, so dont blame it on the refs!!! Peace

Also, if he did commit these offensive fouls every time, then hats off to a genius in the paint!!! You are supposed to play on that edge anyway, knowing what you can and cannot do. THe MAN knew what to do to kick the Illini in the but, and seriously, Illinois just didnt bring anything but some Nifty shooting. Nuff said.

Yeah I got the PM but you were so anti-Deere sounding in it I saw no reason to respond back so I just posted pics for you. As to your question about why you didn't get good results when you demo Deere's and you are in NC also, I still can't say really because you never told me exactly where in NC you are. You indicated that you were 2-3 hours west of me but yet still only in the foothills not quite in the mountains, but that can't be because in 3 hours I can be in any of the NC mountains and much sooner if I go to the Northern NC Mountains (which are some of the tallest). Heck, I am only 30 minutes or so away from the true foothills. So, as to maybe different kinds of "turf" I couldn't answer that for you. I do know though that I have a friend in Asheville and he has the same type fescue we have here and that these stripes were cut in so I don't know dude.

Hi mmlawn, I bought a 737 54" cut last year, very nice mower. I was looking at one of the links of the dixie chopper owners about the chain that is attached by a bar behind the deck. Have you tried any devices to get a better stripe. I am using factory hi-lift blades with a mulching deck.

No as I said this new 757 is basically "out of the box" factory. Even though it does stripe well as the pics show though yes I will probably add some type of striping kit to it once we get use to the mower. I believe JD makes a striper for the ZTrac series.

Where did you get the grass collection system from on the 777. That is a sharp looking unit! Is it a JD or aftermarket?

Get yourself a set of Dixie Chopper Highlift blades and run doubles on that 757. Your 757 makes good stripes now but will make even nicer ones with this setup. I run stock JD highlifts on top and Dixie Chopper highlifts on the bottom. The best setup so far that I have used for the 757's.

I'll for sure have to try that! I was wondering about running doubles on it my only concern is with it being new do you have any idea if it will effect the warranty? I was going to call JD and ask them directly so I'd be covered.

My dealer doesn't have a problem with it, worst case just take the doubles off when you need to take it to the dealer. Just make sure you get the Dixie Chopper high lifts. I just bought some Dixie blades for a 60" deck. The Dixie blades are about a 1/4 shorter than the JD blades but it doesn't matter. See the JD high lifts, even though they are on top, still cut lower than the bottom blade because of their design. I think I bought my Dixie blades from landscaper supply, really cheap.

Nice Deere...I have a GS48 Commercial walkbehind and it rocks. I just bought a Hustler 44 in. Super mini Z and I don't want to get off it. It's great too. Good luck.

Nothing runs like a DEERE.
