Need Help

I ran the mower outta gas today. I know I know..hold the jokes please. Anyway now I gotta real problem, Ive been trying since 6:00 to start it with no luck and now I've got oil coming from the carb while trying to start it.Running out of ideas..It's a 2002 Super Surfer Kohler 20hp with 130 hours. Oh yeah, this happend shortly after picking it up from the shop for a few adjustments!!!

Too much oil? Fuel leaking into crankcase? Blown head gasket? How long did it run before you ran out of gas? Are you certain that you were out of gas, or is it possible that it stopped running and the gas was low enough that you only think you ran out?

I'm not really sure what it is, but I would take it back to the shop and I wouldn't even mention running out of gas unless you are 100% certain that the tank was dry.

Just got back from taking it to the shop..Looks like it sucked in some trash into the carb and is causing the needle to stay open and letting gas get into the oil.
