I usually do not work on Sundays (nor Saturdays) but I had to today. I'm backed up on mulch jobs so I had to get out there. Installed 15 yards.. I'm beat.

Only if I have to, if its beyond my control (rain). Sunday I usually enter the weeks work on the pc and do the billing on the last sunday of the month

Don't like to, but in Spring and Fall, always more work to do than time, and it needs to get done.

Now yes, getting caught up. Normally no unless rain has backed my up. I am part time for now so I dont have a lot of flexibility.

Got to take one day a week off. What's the use of busting your @#$ day in and day out if you can't enjoy what you reap. JMHO :D

I tell my crews........We are off every Sunday...but we relocate them to December, January and February!! hahaha
It is necessary for us to work most Sundays during peak season. What about rain???? Wind problems delaying spraying??? Many factors lead us to needing to work on Sundays.
Think about this....
The best advertising is word of mouth and being seen doing a job. No arguments there I assume. So with that in mind....most people are working all days you are except maybe Saturdays. We PREFER to aerate and overseed the weekends. I can't tell you how much extra work we have gained by "being seen in action".

Worked 1 Sunday so far this year & quite a few Saturdays. Last year I did not work but 1 Saturday and 1/2 days most Fridays. But after all kinds of repairs last year and not much work this winter, I had to rethink that philosophy. AS Rodfather stated b4 ,,you can not make up in December what you did not get to mow in June.
Just depends on how hungry you are. If you really want to grow you need to max out your schedule. If you have few bills & just like to relax & make a decent living, weekends are not a must IMHO. In my case I realize I need & want to GROW.

Saturdays, Sundays and early evenings are great times to get referral and word of mouth customers. Neighbors that walk up and ask for an estimate. That is a great positive to wroking Sundays.
I get 4 1/2 months off during the winter. I work as much as I can as hard as I can during the season. If that means sundays, so be it. Unless it's football season and then I go to the home games.
