i want to make on like like the one on guidos site.
its called the director.
why dont it have holes(like the dixie chopper)is the holes
better or worse?

will stuff blow out from under the deck with no holes?

Experiment. Make 2 of them. One with holes and one with-out holes.

To many holes make it weak,the dixie one is so swiss cheesed,the bagger hooks to it,and it bent once already,I had to straighten it.If you put holes,dont put as many as DC did,they made it too weak by removing a lot of metal.

if you was to put duct tape over the holes would it improve or make blowout worse?

I never tried it,I rarely use it,but when I do it is nice to be able to divert clippings/and any rocks you might hit.If you keep it down,after about 30 seconds,all the holes will plug up any way with grass.stuff will blow out from under the deck,no matter what if you use the OCDC,but at least its blowing out front and not side.
