Just curious what you guys charge per yard to lay landscape stone. Is it the same rate as laying mulch (about 35 per yard for labor for me) or is it more due to the added weight?
Also, does landscape stome cover about the same area as mulch does per yard, or is that different too?

I'm not doing too much in the way of hardscapes, but I know i would definately charge more for moving and laying rock than mulching. It is much harder work, and requires more planning and layout work. Therefore should be compensated accordingly. When it comes to your pricing scheme, I break mine down to " How much is the work worth too me."

Deffinatly more labor. you gotta take in to consideration how far from where they dump it or to where you can get your truck to where it needs to go. do you have to push it uphill ? deal with narrow gates ? or can they dump it where it needs to be and you just spread it out ? Its going to take alot more time for you and you gotta rinse it down when your done also to get all the dust off it so it looks nice. Placing any boulders ?
