I just found out the state of South Carolina requires a $25,000 surety bond for our company to be pesticide licensed in SC. North Carolina only requires pasing a test and paying $30 per year per licensed individual.
Does anyone have experiece with surety bonds and costs associated? My insurance agent said they will need financial statements, resume of experience, locations of work, etc. for them to issue a surety bond. This seems like a lot of work. Am I missing something?
