How far will the clippings shoot from Fastrak 18hp 52"?

I went to my Hustler dealer today and drove the Fastrak 18hp 52". It seems really nice. I plan to get it. But I am not used to cutting without bagging. I do not want to bag either. So I plan to have them install Gator Blades without the mulching kit . How far will the clippings shoot out the deck? How do you keep the clippings from getting all over landscape areas and things?
To those useing this set up , can you see the clippings when you are done cutting or do they disapear into the grass(I hope so)?

Using Gators will shred the grass finer than the stock blade, but... in wet grass it will tend to clump more than with stock blades.
In dry conditions you will be fine and will find the clippings to go 2 to 4 feet with the chute down, more if it is up, (not recommended due to safety reasons) as to how to avoid clippings in beds and such, you will have to mow in a pattern where the mower is discharging away from the areas of concern.
