Chinch bug season is right around the corner and I'd like to re-think what I'll use. I am gonna run with Talstar again since I have it. For the fert, we would mix it with a 1/2 lb of N use powdered ferrous sulfate. We did that at my former employer as it was cheap.

I ain't about the cheap. I know some of you are ferromec fans. Lesco has a 12-0-0, I believe. One rep has suggested a product called Sesquential. Says its seaweed and the golf courses are using it. Its like 50 cents per 1000ft.

I saw the question on the Tea compost. I'd like to hear feedback on that, too...

Thanks

Ferrous sulfate is very abrasive to pumps and may not be as cheap as you think. Suggest more K and possible use of granules for summer applications.
