Whats the deal with deere?

I just read in my new landscape management article that they just bought McGinnis Farms a 150 million $ a year company. Supplier of irrigation supplies, nursery stock, and landscaping supplies. Why would they be buying everything up?

Syzer i think it is about the same thing as any big co. Like Toro buying exmark,and deere also buying Great Dane. Hopefully there will be more dealerships,and maybe ever a price cut, Don't think youll see much diff-in enginering. I just cant see exmark being changed as well as they sell. I worked in management for Sunoco oil Co for 19yrs. Sunoco sold a lot of stations,revamped them into Shell or other brands,yet still sold to there jobbers. Just a money thing,the rich get richer.
