Laying sod

I read a topic a few days ago about someone wanting to go into a larger field of the lawn care industry. Of this it seemed that landscaping was the way to go. I was thinking about going into laying sod. What is about the going rate of sodding a lawn. Understanding that everyones situation is different I was looking for some ballpark rates. Can anyone help me out? Thanks!

A few years ago when I worked for a landscaper, I think we were charging about 2.25 to 2.50 a yard installed. We used to pay about 1.15 a yard. Are you going to be doing finish grading also? I think for a 1/2 acre lot we were charging about 600.00 - 650.00 for that.
