Estimating hedge trimming

Long and Foster are asking me for an estimate to hedge their roadfront bushes... I usually only do residental work. so how do you guys go about giving an estimate for this type of commerical work?

It dosent change first take measurements and or walk the area figure out about how much it will take in materials as well as labor time i then calculate a price and contact the person and give them a quote.

I think hedge trimming could be the hard estimate to do. I find that I bid for at least an extra 15 min a hedge. You just never know what you’re going to get. When I first started doing estimate this year I got burned on the hedge part of the bids. I would just make sure you add some extra for the what ever.
