I agree w/ Mike. However, please wait and sign up by February 29 or March 1 if you like. If Mike wins, I'm drinking his pitcher anyway; besides, he's still peeing his pants anyway.

John Allin is giving me 100 to 1 odds on winning.
I take it as if I do win that would be 100 pitchers of free beer to me and for me to share with all of you.
So I remind all of you nonmembers to please sign up today on line to become a SIMA member.please please please
Just think 100 hundred pitchers of ICE COLD BEER just for us.:D:D:D
Thanks for all your help

Mike: With 100 pitchers of BEER, I think we can work something out on that one. In fact, that should leave plenty of extra beer to put into the Gatorade bucket to pour on JA at the end of the conference.

John,
I would be more than happy to join right now, I just can't afford it. No snow, and with my lung collapsing right before Christmas, we're feeling the wrath of those two weeks off of work. As soon as I get to go out and move some snow, and get paid for it, you can bet your "lake effect" that I'll join!

I, for once in my life, can't think of anything to say... other than THANK YOU!!! You're a good man! But... if you decide to go ahead and sign me up, you have to let me repay you somehow. Get me your address, and as soon as I can, I will send you a check. Let me know!!!

Could someone check the membership names and see if there's a Kraco_1 already as a member? I tried to sign up and my computer crashed when I was doing the credit card info, I didn't think it went trough. But when I went back to sign up again it said my user name was naken by someone else. So I tried to log on with that user name and the password I had picked but it won't let me, just says that user name is taken. Is there a way to find out who has that name?..Thank's...........Kraco_1
Kraco_1, send Tammy an E-mail explaining what is happening when trying to log on and she'll get back to you with the details. It took me a couple tries to get logged on after I joined too.

as i can read, we said "for me" and not "to me".
I need a teacher, some lesson and comments on my writing. I will check this week if i could get some money from the government for this.

I think it's a matter of situation on the "for" or "to". Like... if I were on fire, and someone threw water on me, that would be someone doing something nice to me. If I couldn't afford to join SIMA, and someone offered to pay for my membership, that would be someone doing something nice FOR me. LOL

Denis,
I know what you mean in a way.
I belong to a Veteran's Organization that has a French title.
"La Societe des 40 Hommes et 8 Chevaux".
Also all the officers titles are French.
I know what the title is I just can't get the accent right.
The best way I have found is to speak the language with someone who grew up with that language.
I can make out what message you are trying to convey.
Do you have or know of a English to French program, I'd try so you can see how bad my French spelling is.

http://world.altavista.com/ give helpful (because not always perfect, the better quality text like from journalist or writer, the better result you will get) translation from text or url. Thanks Chuck for the tips.
I also met, probably the only one, a english snow removal contractor on my route ( he don't speak french, a little, very little) and he gave me a lot of new english customer, now i feel more confident with them and i can lead a good conversation on snow removal! Seems i learn twice beeing here, i consider it being one step in front of my competition.

Kraco_1: The message I got was different (username & password didn't match what was on file), I went and did a search and didn't come up with anything for Curran MI so I'm guessing that when your computer crashed (shades of South Park the movie - "#$%%^$@# Windows 98!") things got muddled and your name's not "taken". Let us know what you find out - maybe there are 2 of you(?!?)

Mike,
You can only imagine just how badly I feel for you. I really was looking forward to seeing if you could drink 100 pitchers of anything over a 4 day weekend. Gary and John would have been pouring you into your house (your wife would have loved me for that one).
I can only say that in losing, you probably have kept your wife and all the young chickapoo's in Denver from seeing you in a condition that no one should have to witness......
About that bridge.....
John,
"I really was looking forward to seeing if you could drink 100 pitchers of anything over a 4 day weekend."
If this entertains you I'm sure Iowa would volunteer to attempt this, maybe me too. I pledged a fraternity back in college so I did actually live through the situation you describe. Just not too sure I could do it now, almost 15 years later.

Nope, nope......
I know Storm could do it, especially if Digger was "helping".
No... I was looking forward to Mikey havin at it..... Mike is funny enough on his own.... I think it would be great to see him REALLY reelin and a rockin and a rollin.
No..... guess I'll just have to pay off on someone else at lower odd's.....
Guess we'll all just have to be professionals and business people this time around. Nothing wrong with that either, come to think of it.

I used to be able to out-drink a lot of my buddies, who were all considerably larger than I am. I guess I'll just have to wait and see what we all can handle in Denver..
