45-degree (shaded)hills are either 22" pushed while fully recovering from spring overseeding, and 48 bobcat'ed when recovered (under 5 story high oaks that get deep root fertilized by our partner in success: Davey Tree).

thats our 2002 new front concrete walkway.

its a challenge under oaks, but thousands of dollars in leaf removals Oct-Nov-Dec

Davey Tree as a great subcontracting partner for us, has pruned by thinning and elevation letting in alot of sunlight and rainfall to foster good spring(Jan-Feb) seeding(too dry to fall seed here -and zero irrigation system!)

Davey always "leave$ enough for the other guy" to profit with also, btw, if you're thinking of partnering with them. They aren't chatty with your customers, and never side-sell 'em, and never reveal your costs/profit margin.

Too much shade to pose any real crabgrass threat, we alternate every other year with Lebanon's ParEx 10-18-22 or Lebanon's ParEx 24-4-12 , 12-14week time release, straight fertilizers with micronutrients.

High K = superior drought stress recovery, especially when January was only month with normal rainfall all-winter (other month's way low, since Dec.)

The landscape and tree beds look (at least from the pics) like they really need a new edge put on them.
