Never can be too safe, all it takes is a split second to lose an eye.

I've used husky products for years with no problems, some of the best equipment made in my ever-so humble opinion.

Yes the helmet/earmuff combo seems like overkill. I would suffocate and die from drowning in my own sweat if I had to wear that in the summer here, but in Wis. you probably need it while blowing snow. LOL

I have a few husky products. They have worked out pretty good for me so far. The rep is local here and is always around to help. Are those hedge trimmers the new ones with the shocks on them to lessen the vibractions? If so let me know how they do I was checking them out the other day.

Believe it or not,Iuse the husky hat all year long here.
You get used to it after awhile. The first week I started using it I saved an eye and probably most of my nose (don't ask).Iuse it faithfully now.
Other than that I only have exp. with their saws.Good products.

I have a Husky backpack blower goin on 5 years now and not 1 problem with it. Blows like crazy and starts on 1 or 2 pulls. Amsoil 100:1 helps too. Thats all I know about Husky.
Yes I would buy another.

It's all we use, trimmers, BP blowers, hand held blower, hedge trimmer, and chain saw. Never had any major problems in 7 yrs. I like how the throttle cables are all inside and never get caught on anything. We have had a couple trimmers fall off the trailer at 55 and we still use them.

I use the hard hat like you were given for areas with trees and when I am trimming with a hedge trimmer or using a chainsaw or wood chipper. The thing has stopped a few blows so far.

I've got three Husqvarna trimmers (122L, 322L, and 225L) and have had no problems with any of them. Good solid units.
Thanks, Lynn

I just bought a Husqvarna stick edger 2 weeks ago. It outpowers the Shindiawa T230 I replaced almost 2 fold. Mine was $239, similiar Redmax $419. The choice was easy and so far so good. Russ

I own a 322L Trimmer and the 225H60 Hedge Clippers. I run the crap out of them last year and never had one problem. They always start on the 1st or 2nd pull. I run 89+octane and Husqvarna XP oil. I think the oil you run makes a big difference in the performance of the tool, as far as running top performance. I've run the CHEAP poulan and homelite oils. LOTS of smoke and engines run like ****. The choice of oil you run makes a HUGE difference. Just my opinion on oils and preformance of engines.
I'll stick with them til they treat me WRONG.

I stopped at a Husky dealer today to look at a trimmer. They had a 325LX for $300, supposedly on sale. I picked up a new 2001 Husky catalog and they seem to be getting serious about their commercial lawn equipment. They had sod cutters, overseeders, some new Zero turn mowers and some other nice looking stuff. I've been running Husky chainsaws for about 4 years and like them alot. I was thinking of getting a lighter trimmer to go with my Shin. T27. It's great for heavy duty stuff but I'm not getting any younger and it's definitely not losing weight. I agree with mowman on the XP oil. I use it and 92 octane in my saws and trimmer and they run like champs. The XP oil has stabilizer in it and I think it makes a difference over the winter months with it in there.

HUSQVARNA IS TRUELY DEDICATED TO ITS COMMERCIAL EQUIPMENT. WE HAVE HAD SUPER LUCK WITH EVERYTHING FROM THE SMALL SNOW THROWER THEY USED TO SELL TO THE COMMERCIAL GRADE TRIMMERS AND SAWS THEY SELL. THE ONLY OTHER BRAND THAT I WOULD EVEN CONSIDER WOULD BE ECHO THEY ARE ALSO PUSHING FOR COMMERCIAL GRADE EQUIPMENT.
