Is there a place around Akron, Cleveland, Canton (besides Mulch Makers) that will deliver 40-50yds for a good price for double ground hardwood???

Or is Mulch Makers the only one???

Use mulch makers it is quality mulch nad they really treat me good. Thats probably because I have bought a **** load of mulch off the I buy 100 yrds at a time. it works out pretty good. I have some deliverd to my shop in hartville and load it with our bobcat. Mulch Makers is the way to go!

What kind of price are you paying at Mulch Makers? Down here, a nice double-ground is going for around 15.00 if you buy it in bulk. Just curious as to what the price difference is.

i usually buy anywhere between 5-30 yards at a time so my discount may not be as substantial as those that buy 100 yds at a time plus i dont have anywhere to store the mulch so i just have it delivered to the site.
but anyway, at MM u can get a one time deal where u get 40yds delivered to one location for $12/yd. after that i pay around $19/yd delivered for anything over around 8yds.

JW horvath, $12 a yd delieverd 5-8 yds at a time, take over 30 and its $10 a yd delivered and thats traveling 50 miles to deliever at those prices. If you like to pay in cash the price goes down! Dark double ground hardwood. He's in the book in Akron

Just wondering - if u pay cash, are there any issues as far as writing off that expense??? the reason i ask is because when paying cash u dont have any proof of payment if u are audited, right???

i stopped by today and the mulch was pretty good. it was medium brown and medium coarse. as a comparison, it was coarser than the "landscaper's choice" at Mulch Makers. so it all depends on your preference.

regardless, i will probably get some for my jobs. it is not the very best mulch ive seen but for the price it is a good deal. he quoted me $13/yd delivered within like 20 miles for a 20yd load.

Right !!! but if you could save enough $$$ it would out way the tax write off. But I would never do that, always report every dime

it is (330) 668-2171. not sure if that is his cell or business #. u should stop by the yard and take a look and see if u like his mulch but there is usually no one there so make ordering arrangements through that #.

let me know what u think

Hate to be bothersome, but do you have a camera to take a picture of it. I am probably 50 minutes away or so. Thanks

no sorry i dont right now. i wish i did so i could take pics of my striped yards.

i really dont think a pic would show you what u need to see. when i look at mulch i usually pick up a handful to see consistency etc.

what kind of mulch are u looking for???

I dont think it has to be to best mulch in the world, just something that will hold its color for more than a couple weeks.

How far south of Akron is Coshocton?

I should check that mulch out. Know of any haulers???

Good as horvaths mulch if not better mulch. The trouble is no phones, you have to drive there to see if hes been grinding. Next time I get down there I'll bring some back with me, Landscaper can stop by and see it here and snap can see it in medina wadsworth area when I'm there. At least twice a wk or I'll tell you where you can see it installed
