If the runners are not attaching thierselves to the soil and are curling up above the grassline. Can anyone tell me what would cause that?

Hello Joe,
My thoughts would be too much water, Grass is trying to escape the situation.

Thank you very much. One of my buddies had told me it was either to much or not enough water but he was not sure. I appreciate the help. I will pass that along.

I would say that is the way it grows sometimes, I have been cutting that type of grass for over 20 years, sometimes it curls up and when I mow they get cut off, sometimes it don't. In my situations it never really been a issue.
