We're all set to go insurance, license (fun taxes :p ) just waiting on shirts ,sweatshirts etc and lettering for vehicles ! How exciting and crazy this is to make sure u have everthing done! Equipement is John Deere X465 all steer I love it takes alittle getting used to my hubby say I never let him on it at home I love to cut our yard ! All equipement is new 22" toro rear wheel elctric start mower, toro blower vac , weedeater , we'll use that till it dies (old one) Rider has bagger also and mower to ,plus 18" trailer . Older pick-up F150 Ford 88. Thats the basics I thinkfor now. We are doing just mowing and trimming also clean-up Customers are residential from over an acre lot to smaller trailer park lot. So just a little to start hope to have atleast 8-10 seasonal clients and that will give us plenty to do for the few hours we have in the morning. Have run some addsin local papers most calls from them right now ! Keep on mowin!! :waving: Ohhh and thanks for all the nice welcomes

You'll find lots of info here. Welcome to the site. It's a great site. Lots of helpful folks here. It gets a little nuts sometimes but it makes it all the more fun. I just noticed you're in Wis. w/all year accounts. Have you checked out companion Plowsite yet?

My 2cents and advice:
Treat every customer as if your world revolves around them...it does.

Also...dont get so caught up in the work that your financial aspect suffers from lack of attention. It is the demise of most small businesses today.

Im just a genious in disguise... :cool2:

Hi and welcome from another hubby and wife team in WIS. We've been doing this since 1987, and we still love it, despite the long winters and wierd customers.

This is a great site -- we just joined and love it. We get quite a few laughs from the replys.

Good luck to you!
