Pay rates sometimes go by what part of the country you live and you don't have your profile filled in correctly so we know where you live. Please fill it in.
Thanks
Eric
Try contacting your local Job Service - they keep track of current wages. You might also get some idea of looking through the Want Ads in your newspaper to get an idea of what other companies are offering. One thing to consider - are you wanting someone with experience or are you willing to take someone who can convince you of their expertise? Experience will cost more. If this is your first employee, you might want to contact the SBA/SCORE office for help.

Eric is right about pay rates and areas. I know in our area, good all around mechanics that can fix a multitude of equipment are going to need anywhere from $35,000 to $60,000 a year or more for a full time position. If you want someone good and that's responsible you gotta pay. If you're willing to chance quality repairs, you could spend less, depends on your needs also. Good luck.
