Is 6.5 x 12 to big???

Would a 6.5 x 12 trailer be too big for a 1991 s10 with 4.3 to handle? Im just hauling a 36 walkbehind. I just have plans to expand and get a new truck in the future but im on a tight budget now and i dont want to waste my money on a smaller trailer that i will have to replace later.

It should handle it fine, I had the same trailer and truck with a 2.8-v6 and did ok

The trailer is fine, just be careful as you add equipment not to overload the truck.
