Got my new Tiger Cub today, along with a new 6.5x16 tandem trailer. Still have to work on the trailer setup, but this will get my by for this week anyway. Here's a few pics I snapped this evening.

Thanks! Too bad they don't stay that clean for long. It will see plenty of action beginning tomorrow morning. Truck is a '99 F250 v10 with a Truckcraft dump insert. :waving:

How much do the truckcraft inserts go for? Thinking about getting one myself heard truckcraft was one of the better brands.

Steel prices have not been kind to the dump inserts. I paid about $2800 (including cab protector, rollup tarp, and installation) last fall, but the time savings are worth every penny. You can see a few pics at http://www.lawnsite.com/showthread.php?t=89833&highlight=truckcraft

Currently cutting 35/week. Trying to get that number to 40-45.

Nice set up I have the same thing. Can you snap a few pics of the roller tarp on the dump insert, I have the same insert but I was thinking of making my own roller tarp, just wanted to see how they wotk.

What brand is your trailer? Where did you get it? I live in Jackson Michigan and I'm looking for a longer trailer and wondered if you got your trailer somewhere near me. Thanks.

I bought the trailer at Exit 99 Sales. They manufacture their own trailers, and seem to do a nice job with them. Located off I77 at the Fohl Rd. exit (exit 99, go figure  ) just south of Canton.

We have two Scag Tiger Cubs, they are great mowers. Good luck and you need to get that Cub dirty.

how much grass can you cram in that insert. it looks small compared to an 8 footer. do you have enough room in it to cut grass all day and not empty it?

Plenty of room for my needs. I only bag select accounts (those that pay for it). Usually I can make 2 days before dumping, sometimes 3 depending on growth rates and the time of year.

Oh, and the new mower is dirty already!!

How do you like your scag w/b? How is the cut?

The WB has been my bread and butter for 3 years. Cuts great and leaves a nice stripe. Has also been rock solid mechanically. Outside of regular maintenence, I've only had to replace a pulley and give the carburetor a good cleaning so far. Here's a link to a property that was cut with it last season. http://www.lawnsite.com/showthread.php?t=82325

Mind me asking how much you paid for the scag? They look like good machines I'm pretty close to you so price shouldnt be too far off.

He said the trailer was 6.5x16

7299 isnt bad at all, I was looking at toro's the other day and they wanted 7999 for a 52/54" deck forget what it was.

Does the scag cut really well? Got any pics of how it cuts?
