Anybody use the micro mulch system on a exmark walk behind. Hows it do?

Its been on my machine since 96, and thats all I mow with.

I am very pleased with it, though during the flush of growth in the spring I sometimes need to run over the lawn quick a second time, or go over with a blower to disperse heavy clumps esp when wet.

It varies per model, I negotiated mine included with the price of the machine, installed. Dont know what it cost as a stand-alone.

If you get it installed be sure they return the original baffles (there will be 2, a long one with the 3 chambers and a short 9 inch piece), deflector, and blades in case you decide to remove the kit some day.

BryanB, They run between $110-160 depending on deck size and dealer. This includes installlation and one set of mulching blades. ( at least at my dealer). They are by far the best investment I've ever made concerning mowing.

It is the only thing that runs on my metro 36" also. It is really awesome with leaves and grass. If it is tall and wet I will go over twice. But that is very rare around here. Mine was around $110.
