Hey guy,
Just wondering, how late do most of yall guys work and also what time do most of you start the day. Not only what time are you out mowing, but how much "office" type work do yall do in a do. I was just curious how many hours everyone puts in in a week

Crews dispatch at 8, usually make it in by 5:30, sometimes 6. Don't like them out on customers property after then.

As for myself, I work when ever necessary, but usually stop answering the phone at 7:30.

Same... but sometimes don't get home til 4:30 or 5am from the morning job. I don't start cutting til 9 or 10. Resi's usually end 6:30-ish and comm's til 9-ish. Then its an hour nap and back to the night job. tuesday-thurs are my light days, I use them for catching up or some general landscape here and there.

Usually out the door at about 7am and start mowing by 8ish.... Home???? sometimes it seems like I sleep at my shop.LOL I like to do everything at night after a long day of mowing so I will usually stay out at the shop till, 9ish??? sometimes 10pm if some of the local lawn guys see the lights on. It amazing when your the only guy that has a blade sharpener and most of the lawncare guys know about it???? LOL So answer to your question... normal day is about 7am till 9pm......

Alot of people go to work for them selfs to set there own hours and most of us find we work longer hours then at a norm job . But ya gotta do what ya gotta do as for me nothing be for 10 un less its big and work till i get home reason for starting at 10 is when the babysitter is available . Reason for not starting till 10 is for the baby sitter is available . The only time i get tied up at the shop is when buddy's stop to shoot the shi* till 10 11 12 or the wife calls and well you knoww..........

Right now....

4 am to 11 pm.

This time of year I'm running 80 - 100 hour weeks.

This includes about an hour and a half for different meals throughout the day, and paperwork.

It's 3:48 right now and I'll be mowing in about 15 minutes at a car dealership.

I only run commercial, so I've always got accounts that are lit up all night.

When it rains, I can mow 24 hours if I need to, in order to get caught up again.

Up at 6 AM, get myself ready, get my daughter up, fed, see her off to the bus, check equipment, on my first lawn by 8:30 - 9:00 AM. Finish cutting by 6 or 7 PM, do some estimates from calls during the day, home for a fast supper, do paperwork, etc. done by 10 PM, sometimes later.

Figure I'll catch up on sleep during the winter.
