I was wondering how to get the most horse power out of my twin cylinder 18 hp briggs and stration motor. I need to get as much as I can out of it. Thanks.
By the way. I figured out the wireing. thanks alot :realmad:

Crank the rpm up to 4000
Those engines are designed to only withstand 10% above their max RPM momentarily any more than that or longer than that, then he'll have a rod sticking out the side. Since most newer Briggs are governed at 3600, he'd only be able to run 3960 RPM just for a few seconds, even with such a small difference, he could still blow it.
The best thing you can do is to bore out the venturi in the carb about an 1/8" and that will increase your flow of air/fuel in and then see if you can get the heads ported and polished as well as running a hotter spark plug. Just make sure you don't get one that will scorch the pistons.
