95 Isuzu NPR dovetail

I am considering purchasing a 95 Isuzu NPR with dovetail in the near future. I looked at one the other day and was hoping to get some input from anyone with knowledge of these trucks. As I said it is a 95, has 96,000 miles and is powered by a Chevy 350 gas engine. Truck looks to have been maintained very well, but I was wondering if the mileage is too high for a gas engine. I know diesels can go for 400,000 miles plus but not sure about gas. Also the asking price is 11,900 but I can get it for 10,000. Any input would be appreciated.

If you are serious about buying it, take it to a shop and have them look it over. This usually costs about 1 hr labor. 10K seems a lil high to me for a 10 yr old gasser.

sounds like a good deal to me....especially the price ....i have two npr cabovers and they're great...
