Does anyone have any pics of some good st augustine stripes. 99% of my yards are st augustine and they just don't stripe very well. Come to think of it I haven't seen any lawns around here with good detailed stripes like the fescue and bermuda I used to mow.

All the st augustine lawns around here look like azz because of brown patch. The cool spring is wreaking havock on many st augustine lawns.

Never seen anyone stripe st augustine.

Agree, no SA stripes, just tire tracks.
DFW, With the cool nights down here, (Houston area) I have been waiting on the brown patch to show up. Just a matter of time.
What are you treating it with and how are the results?
Thanks,

I have not been treating it unless the customer agrees to pay for a fungus application. The fungicides are really only good for prevention, not cure, according to Texas A&M.

When we do treat it, we use Banrot. Don't know if it helps or not, but the AI is listed as a treatment for brown patch by TAMU. I set real low expectations on the fungicide app and I do not guarantee results. Fungus is very hard to control. Some lawns get toad stools, some don't. Don't ask me why.
