Innotech Designs has a "P2 anti scalp wheel with industrial strength ball bearings....designed to fit a variety of commercial mower decks" Has anyone heard of these? They have sealed bearings. A Google search turned up nothing. The notice is in the West Turf magazine for May 2005, page A6. I would like to use something like this to replace the greaseable anti-scalp wheels on the Kubota ZTR mowers.

I saw that in the Turf magazine also. I would like to hear if anyone is using them and if they are any good.

I saw them and went to their website. They are way to much money. I think it was like 35 bucks a wheel. Noway could I justify that. I think the ones I looked at were at Lawnwheels.com

The best fix for wear out of the rollers is the new feature to be able to raise the deck on ZTR. The concrete just wears down the plastic ....better bearing won't fix that!

I'm with Hess Lawns on this...wheel wear(flattening) was always a much bigger factor than the sleeves mushrooming out. I'd like to see pneumatic swivels for floating decks at some point. Thoughts?

Why would you spend that much on the bearings when the part that wears out is the plastic wheel itself? When the plastic wears out just replace the whole thing and be done with it.
