I read on this forum, a while back, a mention of a reticulating trimmer. I guess it cuts the grass like a hedge trimmer? Does anybody know what I'm talking about? A search comes up with nothing. Also, my dealer never heard of one.
Thanks

stihl makes one. I've got the stihl version. absolutely TOTALLY cool for taking down brush, thistles, buck brush, 4 foot tall grass, small trees. Anything smaller in diameter then your thumb. Like I'd bet money it would easily cut off your little finger.

Just imagine all the crap that a DR trimmer is supposed to trim, then imagine the thing cutting twice as fast, and being on the end of your trimmer so you didn't have to push the damn thing around. But it works better then that.

My FS85 has enuff horsepower, barely to drive it. It would NOT work on a smaller trimmer. You must have a straight shaft.

Absolutely worthless on trimming grass around a lawn as it isn't level enuff and small stuff gums it up. As the salesman said who sold it, don't worry about sharpenting it. By the time it is dull enough to need sharpening, it is time to throw it away, and you will have made enuff money you will giggle as you dumpsterize it.
