Bed Edging

Hello Again,

I am not too used to pricing jobs so I have a question for you all. One of my mowing contracts wants me to mow and do the edging along with it. The labor for the edging will take me about 1/2 hour to 45 minutes, and the for the normal mowing job I charge $25. How would you guys go about pricing the bill for the mowing and the edging together?

I include edging and blowing with mowing. First I think $25. is to low to start with. I don't take the mower off the trailer for less then $35. my average job is $40 and up. After you factor in gas for equipment, and getting to the sight, wear on equipment, insurance, and your time. I don't see a profit charging anyone below $35 Don't get me wrong, when I first started I did, but I soon found out that I was cutting for free. :angry: Good Luck Terry
