Scag vs. Grasshopper

I have narrowed my search for a ZTR mower down to a Scag Tiger Cub with 48" deck, 21HP Kohler vs. a Grasshopper 321-D, 52" deck and 21 HP Kubota Diesel. Any comments would be appreciated as I have always has regular lawn tractor. I mow about 2 acres total. Thanks for your help.

I would go for the 322D TONS more power. I demoed both before i bought my 722D. 1 hp doesn't seem like a lot but the 22 has more torque.

You are kind of comparing two different ducks. There is a huge difference between a 21 diesel and 21 gas. If you go diesel it will also last you at least 3 times longer than the gas.

I just got a 322D and it's a great machine, I don't know anything about the Scag, I am sure it is a great machine also.
I like diesel so I went diesel and Kubota makes a pretty darn good diesel.
