How many lines do you want to run? Does this ad cost you per line? How many words per line?

What services do you offer? Aerating, fertilizing, thatching,?

Give us a little more info.

The latest issue of lawn and landscape magazine has a picture of a yellow pages add that has been very effective for its company. If you get that magazine or look at the site on the net maybe you can find the example and get some ideas.

That is the one. I guess the key is to get noticed and it does seperate itself from the rest of the competition.

JUST BE SURE YOUR AD CONTAINS ALL LARGE CAPS LIKE YOUR POSTS, GOTTA GET SOME ATTENTION!

But on a more serious note, how about simplifying it by saying something like this:

Ron Adairs Lawn Maintenance

Providing our customers with one stop shopping.

One call and you get our all.

Licensed and Insured.

Ask about our "Total Package"

Your lawn's gonna love us.

Be the envy of the neighborhood, call Ron for an appointment today.

20% off first month to the first 20 callers.

Free lawn maintenance for every ten annual customers you get signed up.

Be creative Ron........I'm running out of energy!

I would not put anything in like 20% off, seinors discount, free cut ect. Those kind of adds attract cheap people!Ask others here they will tell you the same.

TRUST ME!!!!!

I am sure RON knows all about those seniors in FLA.

I think I would be tempted to place in a add down there, "No Seniors Serviced", from some of the stories my mother has told me from her wintering in FLA.

Spend the money for a DISPLAY ADD, if you can. Small one every other day or twice a week or something will stand out better than just a classified listing. Ask the newspaper ciruclation about when would be the best day to run a lawn ad. They do demographics all the time as part of their own sales pitch. They can tell you what day it would reach most interested in your service. I would guess Saturday and Sunday!
