A DOCTORS office called for an estimate last week. I called back, did the estimate, faxed it to them. I bid it at $120 per month. They called back to thank me, out of 4 companies I was the only one who called and estimated. But............. they "were paying $40 a month" so they "want to find something in their pricerange". Poor Dr...........

Go figure. Kinda reminds me of earlier today when a gave an estimate to a guy. Had probably 10 small wild maple trees and some various brush grown up on a corner of his property that he wanted removed. I told him $250 to cut it back and haul it out. This seemed really cheap to me, but he acted all pissed like it was way to much and gave me the whole "I'll have to think about it" line. Anyway, thats crazy about that doctors office, $40.00 month, thats $10.00 a cut!!!

Hello all, the other day I go with a Buddy on an estimate, the property is an easy 2ac, 4000sqft home[$ 3.5mil, w/a $15'000 sculpture in the driveway]....the couple just moved in last month......as we circle the property, you can see the couple had been bizzy, already cut the vines off an 80yr.old copper beech [ well as much as their hand snips would allow?]......to sum it up all they wanted was the lawn to be cut every 2-weeks for $75 bucks?......and dont bother blowing off the driveway?......Politely I handed them my bizness card, and told them to give us a call when the "market" got better, that we'd be more than happy to wait for them as we have been n bizness for many years? [ with a stright face]........doesent it just kill ya at times, lol, lol, lol.
