What do you guys do about edging around black top drive ways, Whats the best way to deal with this and make it look nice with out using chemicals?

very carefully and slowly with a push edger.
be prepared to buy a new blade if you have to keep trimming it back until you are off the pavement (if it is grossly overgrown), so factor that into the cost.
