Heres a few pics of a landscape job we did today. I don't have any of before we started but we cut everything up. The whole front was just grass we cut it up and put in some plants and mulch. how does it look? I know those plants aren't the best looking things but she already had them there when we got there.

Looks good Chad!! About how long did it take you to do that job?? You should have offered to the customer to plant some more flowering groundcovers or maybe some camellias since it looks like its shady there..... Just my opinion.

Looks good, are you going to edge it with something?

It took me and another guy about six hours to do it including a 40 min trip to the dump and getting stuck in my friends moms back yard and having to be pulled out (funny story).
I suggested some different plants but she is selling the house and just wanted some curb appeal. She already had everything there when I got there.

I also suggested that but out of the budget after paying me $600 for the install.

Good job Chad!! How come you got help?Small jobs like that you should keep the $ in your pocket and do alone. If you paid a guy to help, plus pd for transpo to job and the dump +fees, and fabric and mulch and amendment, that left you about $450.00??If so not to bad.. but if you split the work 50/50 you dident make very much.Looks great good work!

Thanks,
I made $500 minus gas to the dump, $9 dump fee and uncle sams cut. The lady paid for all supplies and had them on site when we arrived. I paid my helper a full days pay ($100) even though we didn't work a full day. I looked at it like this, Six hours @ 500 I made $83 an hour which is to shabby. If I would of worked by myself it would of taken at least a day and a half which would of ment more gas not to mention cutting into my normal mowing schedule, we did the job on Sunday. So I saw this as the most profittable way to do the job.
