New Blades on 60" Hustler Z w/ blade saddles

I am new to the forum and totally amazing at the content!

I am interested in using the new blades (#795292 - flat blade w/ lengthend cutting edge) with my 60" Hustler Z. The problem is that it is about 4 years old and has blade saddles and 1/2" mounting bolt. The new blades are for the saddle-less design with 5/8" mounting bolt. I do like the idea of the new decks not "locking" the blades into place with the saddles allowing the blades to give if something was hit. It seems that the new blades should perform better as well. Can I retro-fit my Hustler Z to a saddle-less design?

Yes you can update your spindles to a saddle less style.
You will need to buy the new style spindle shaft.
E-mail me and I will e-mail you the parts manual, you can then see what you will need to do.
It is a fairly easy job, if your mechanically inclined.
