Here is sort of a before pic...Crew consisted of one ie myself over the winter and 2 in early spring. We had record snow fall up here from the friggin day we excavated so very little got done over the winter. 12 inch footers on all walls, geogrid, sump pump, drainage everywhere, customer installed landscape lighting all around etc ...worth a few $$$$ is all I will say.....next winter I am going back home. :)

I dont have a pic of his house but here is a neighbors house I hydroseeded last October in the dark with truck & Skid Steer lights on. When people Ask why I dont give a warranty on seeding without a sprinkler sytem I show them this pic. "Just add Water"

*** Customer installed trees/shrubs ...we are ripping them out in a few weeks to do a redesign. I fertilize it ...dont know who mows it.

I really like the idea of using the walkout area to sink the patio. It provides instant privacy. How does the patio area drain?

...two mulch beds either side of lower steps are full of gravel/drain tile which take water away and anything going down steps runs into two drains right near basement doors. We have had terrential rain a couple of times and no hint of drainage issues.

I like the design and the materials.
Great work.
Only thing I would do differently is to change some of the cuts.

Peace.

I agree with Rex on all points. I like the materials and the design. The cuts on the soldier course of pavers is too loose for my taste. Also, I noticed the one corner of the retaining wall (at the steps) really isn't tied into the rest of the wall as much as I would like to see.

I like the work, just some constructive criticism.

These are the first pics I have seen of the job....I see the small faults also.
When we slow down later in the year I'll go back and do some touch ups.

looks fantastic, great job you should be proud!Let the client know that if they are gonna build a fire in that spot, they need to line it with firebrick first. The wall block could explode if exposed to hot temps of a contained fire.

Two local guys installed the door......cutting holes in basement walls is one thing I wont be losing sleep over not doing. :)
