So far, it's been the 7th driest spring on record! Our irrigation system is practically at full tilt and it's barely June!!
Some good storms rolling in with lots of lighting... I love ionized rain and the small extra kick it gives to turf. Plus, no one waters like mother nature!
How is everyone's lawn(s) looking?

I know, i saw the rain and said thanks god. I almost thought we were gonna get hit by a drought. I think a dicount of mine will be if a customer has a installed system that is used on a regular basis.

It's been raining here in Winter Haven Florida for about a week and a half now. I'm about sick of it.

Southwest Missouri is BAD DRY. Lawns around here are starting to look like August already. Glad to hear Chicago is getting it, send it south!!!!

The Jet stream carrying all the wet cool weather has been farther south than usual this time of year. We have had a cool wet spring so far. Temperature dropped to a record low in 59 in the daytime last week. Up and down temps all spring 50s 60s and 80s. Looks like things will be getting back to normal this week but who knows. Yesterday it was a beautiful 85 sunny degrees. I am not complaining because its better than the usual late May drought we have.
The warm season grasses are just getting cranked up. Mostly I have been cutting weeds.

The weather forecast in today's Washington Post calls for high temps in the upper 80s all week, starting today. We're going from highs in the low 70s to the upper 80s in no time at all. Oik.

We definitely needed the rain. Of course I was halfway in a lawn when it hit. Had to get the 21" out to finish.

After as wet and moderate we've been west of you, I am more than ready for a drought. Last year was hard on an irrigation only guy, But, we did need this last batch of rain.........as long as it's the last rain we see til Sept. I'm OK with it :)

They are calling for rain tuesday afternoon till friday. That should keep things green for awhile. :D
We had some storms over the weekend but not much rain. Lightning struck my central air unit and my furnance. So, now its hotter than h*%* in my house until the new ac arrives next week. They are saying maybe some rain middle of the week, lets keep our fingers crossed. :blob3:

The southern burbs and NW Indiana seemed to get nailed by the storms. My rain guage only read .50 inch. :dizzy:

Two weeks ago I thought we were in a drought too....we were skipping lawns 'cause of no growth. It's been raining here since last Wednesday morning. We've had over 3.25 inches. I'm not complaining 'cause I know it's going to grow like gang busters now!!! We'll all be rolling in the green.

What is rain? Can someone please attach a picture of it? Is that a new kind of trimmer or blower? ;)
Nothing here and grass not growing across the river from Saint Louis. Weather man keeps saying that it will rain and... nothing.

Thunderstorm Watch until 9... we'll see what we get out of this!
We're very dry south of Peoria. We've only had 3.25 inches since March 1 and only .07 inches this month with temps in the 90's most days. I mowed only 6 lawns last week and 4 so far this week.
